Poetry – Slave Gjorgjo Dimoski

Up to the bare bone
Angel with face turned aside
Skin my skin
Supper (the last?)
Miss depression
Plowman

Plowman

Image: My grandfather is plowing

I hold fields between my hands

and I let the oxen go after flowers

after me, the earth breathes in furrows

between them time in a waiting ambush

and a sky budding in sorrow

– in them I throw my seed so that seed long for the plough, too
