Project Description
Bjanka Alajbegović was born in Sarajevo in 1983. She graduated from the Department of Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. She published collections of poems Between the Two (2005) and Hearts’ saturnalia (2019). She was a guest at numerous regional poetry meetings. Her poetry was translated into Hungarian, Romanian, and German.
She publishes poetry and essays in literary periodicals and on the portals: Odjek, Novi Izraz, Sarajevske sveske, Zenicke sveske, Ars, Plima, Motrišta, Fragment, Eklava, Strane, Bona. She publishes literary criticism as part of the Women’s Reading Room project. Her narrower field of interest is feminist epistemology. She is a member of PEN Center of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
