Project Description
Una Vizek was born in 1976 in Zagreb, Croatia. She is a telecommunications engineer by profession. She involved herself in the theater art in 2000 through contemporary dance. She was a performer, co-author and author of more than ten dance performances. Since 2010 she also writes dramatic texts.
Dramatic texts: Blackout (2010); Last call for Reykjavik (2012); The last Croats (2013); There’s no life on Mars (2015), Marin Drzić Award (3rd place), first performance at HNK, Varaždin; I haven’t stopped since morning (2017);
The short story Borderline won 1st place in the short story competition at the European Short Story Festival 2016.
The drama I haven’t stopped since morning has received the following awards:
- National award for an unpublished dramatic work “Marin Drzić Award” for 2017.
- Winner of the competition for the translation of the text on the Drame.hr portal for
- Fadil Hadzić Award for the best original text “Fadil Hadžić Days of Satire” for
