Etela Farkašová (1943) is a famous Slovak philosopher and retired university professor. Prose writer, essayist, poet, and member of the Society of Slovak Writers, the Slovak PEN Center, and the Austrian Society of Writers. She published more than thirty books. Her works have been translated and published in German, English, Russian, Czech, Polish, Bulgarian, Serbian, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and other languages. Her writings are represented in numerous domestic and foreign anthologies. For her writings, she won several important Slovak and international awards. For her novel Screenplay, she won the prestigious Slovak literary prize Anasoft litera for 2018. Her latest and equally successful novel is Flying Lessons (2019). For the first time, we are translating it into the Macedonian language.
