João Luís Barreto Guimarães (Porto, 3.June.1967) is a Portuguese poet that lives in Leça da Palmeira, north of Porto, Portugal. He’s also a Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon. He publish the following books of poetry: “Há Violinos na Tribo” (1989), “Rua Trinta e Um de Fevereiro” (1991), “Este Lado para Cima” (1994), “Lugares Comuns”, (2000), “3 (Poesia 1987-1994)” (2001), “Rés-do-Chão” (2003), “Luz Última” (2006), “A Parte pelo Todo” (2009), all of them collected last year in “Poesia Reunida” (2011).
