Conditions of Body and Mind After You Turn Thirty

(The world I live in brings me) Disappointment… 1. With my generation
(The world I live in brings me) Disappointment… 2. With the statesmen
(The world I live in brings me) Disappointment… 3. With myself
(The world I live in brings me) Acting… 1. Out of Stubbornness
(The world I live in brings me) Acting… 2. Out of Spite
(The world I live in brings me) Acting… 3. Out of Faith

I think I saw Robinson,
scolding our Commander Friday
not to pick his nose at press conferences.
Columbus sat next to him,
eating pork, grilled on sheep fat,
broad smile on his face, as he was the first
who brought lice to America.
Our army also returned,
starving, tired, beaten,
led by Cyclops, followed by eagles.
The statesmen are nowhere to be found.
Only we, the women,
are left with our mourning throats.
