WIND AND SEA
The wind closed the sunscreens,
folded up the deckchairs,
and threw sand in the sun’s eyes.
The wind whipped the waves.
It clothed the naked bodies
and towel-dryers.
Tied lush hairs in ponytails,
released olive branches.
It brought black clouds to the sun
heavy covers (no one today
will catch a tan).
The wind rocked the boats until
the observers did not get sick.
The neighbor in the bungalow next to us
started to vomit badly.
We took him out to the wind,
to blow him out a little bit.
