Marija Doneva was born on 03.09.1974, in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Graduated Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She is the author of several books of poetry: Eyes for Beauty, Goodbye to the reader, It’s scary, The soft sun, Luring the meaning, Shop for small circular stones, Feather of steam, Gap between us (on Mace-donian), and also, the book for children’s: Rabbit and his dream. In 1996 and 1997 she participated in the events: Young Struga and Struga Poetry Evenings. She lives and works in Stara Zagora.
