Manjola Nasi (1982) is a Tirana-based Albanian poet and translator, winner of Crystal Vilenica 2019 Award. A Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program alumna, she holds a PhD in literature from the University of Tirana, where she has been teaching for over a decade. She has translated a series of important works from English into Albanian. She published her first collection of poems Sonnet of Autumn in 2002, upon winning a literary competition. In 2017 she was awarded a prize by the Albanian Ministry of Culture, which led to the 2018 publication of her second collection of poems, A Journey and a Half, greeted with critical acclaim and later awarded with the Best Poetry Collection of 2018 Prize by Bukinist platform. She has been a guest of many literary events, festivals and residencies. Besides Albanian, selections of her poems have appeared in anthologies and literary journals in English, Italian, Slovenian, Greek, Macedonian, Serbian, etc.
