Hebert Abimorad was born in 1946 in Montevideo, Uruguay. In 1975 he moved to Sweden where he still lives. He works as a Spanish language teacher and journalist. He has published seven books of poetry: “Gotemburgo Love and Destiny” (1982), “Distant Movements” (1985), “Echoed Voices” (1988), “Frugal Poems” (1995), “Frugal Poems 2” (1995), “Malena and Ciber” (1996, published under the pseudonym Martina Martinez) and “Frugal Poems 3” (1998).
