Hal Sirowitz has had books of poetry translated into nine languages – Turkish, Hebrew, Japanese, Icelandic, Swedish, etc. He’s the most popular translated poet in Norway. He’s the author of four books of poetry with a fifth one forthcoming from Backwaters Press in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Liz Rosenberg wrote a critical essay on his poetry, which appeared in The Hollins Critic.
