When shall I study semiotics?
When shall I be intertextual?
When shall I be able to apply postmodernism
to Macedonian short stories?
and as for the the ones from the world
when shall I be comparative
like my and your bedsitters
like my and your bed linen.
Your lady, my friend, will not wait long for you
you know that what remains of a princess is a legend.
Your children, my poet, are still hungry
though you received a literary award.

I will love you, my stranger, until I speak my language
I will love you, my stranger, until you speak your language
When shall I leaf through literary theory
When shall I highlight items in methodology
We make love within literature
in linguistics we have the sweetest dreams
our life is in medias res – poetry.
According to literature, yes, but it isn’t important, they say.
But according to the laws of literary science
I will never, never become immortal with you.
