Poetry – Igor Isakovski

moonlight reflecting

on mouse fur

the heart beats uncontrollably

the heart beats as it pleases

on its own, the strongest, the warmest

mice run through narrow

corridors, they hit with their snouts

they scratch with their paws,

silver hairs fall off their bodies

filled with cold wisdom

their hearts burst as grenades

they splash on all surrounding walls:

slime and decisiveness and shiver

is poured in their eternal labyrinth

by the mice with moonlight in their fur
