THE STONE

When we talk about build and building, we couldn’t outflank the enthusiasm, ages old, for the stone, as one of the elements with which the building arise, for his firmness, forms, oblique, and especially for his discrepancy, which are represented with the wealthy symbolic associate with him. According the legend of Prometheus, between the human soul and the stone there is a close relationship, apropos the stone’s keeping up the human smell. The man and the stone have been, in essence, double connected in moving towards raise and prostration. The man have been born from a God and he returns to a God. The not finished stone was fallen dawn from the sky, and being finished, it rise upon7F. Finished stone in essence is the men’s act and symbolizes the man’s act in which he stand opposite the energy of a Creator.
Not finished stone is a passive mater, ambivalence, and if only the man act on it, the stone becomes pollute, but if the sky’s and spirits forces act on it, to be made a finished arranged stone, he becomes impregnated. With this kind of symbolic meaning we came to the predisposed of the artist to his labor, in conditional, God’s hand which leads the artist in his labor. Transition from not finished stone according the stone arranged from the God, represent the transition from the illiberal soul to the soul enlighten from the God’s cognition8F.
There is especially strong symbolic meaning of the mason’s conception of the stone. Rectangle stone express an idea of constancy, equality and completion, and the pyramidal stone is a symbol of the sages at them. It’s for especial propound theirs symbolic meaning of the pyramid placed on the cube, which shaped the highest ecclesiastical principal act on the ground9F.
Their especial relation towards the key’s stone deserves to be registered. It is an idea usurped from the Bible, in which it is named as a stone of the disunion, apropos arc’s stone. In essence, it’s a stone of accomplishing, coronation and symbol of Christ descent from the sky to conclude the Law and the Prediction of the Predicts. According the Bible, the basic symbolic meaning of the stone, because of its invariable characteristics, is sagacity10F.

THE HEART

The center of the home life and the main happenings of the family is the hearth. The hearth is a symbol of a social life, of a home, the relationship of a man and a woman, love. As a solar center, with its own warmness and lightness it approaches the people; the place for preparing the food became the center of the life. In all the civilizations the hearth is respected place; it’s a chancel from where the God is called and place for celebration of his cult11F.
What is the altar for the temple – that is the hearth for the house.12F Nearly each ceremony from the breeding till death happens around or on the hearth. It’s mustn’t be desecrated with anything. According the custom of South Slavs the hearth is connected with the infernal Goddess of the life and death. In theirs customs there is a few, in which we can find the symbolic meaning. Some of them are – it’s forbidden for the pregnant woman to clean the hearth, the new-born was for the first time bath inside of it, the old people died on it13F. It is an indignity for the host and degradation for the woman’s part of the family, the act of stinging the knife on the hearth, which was account as decry of the woman honor of that house14F.
When the bride comes in the bridegroom’s house, according the Mijak’s custom, she’s directly brought at the hearth and married on the symbolic way to it, apropos to the house15F.
In the long ages of, step by step, civilization accomplish, the master of the fire was the woman. We could find verification for this in cult of the hearth. From the antic till these days it was in the woman’s deity. Following the principles of her own biological creative power, creation of the life, she is doing the things which were, deep inside, carrying the efficiency of procreation – preparing the food, raising the plants and animals, making a ceramic things, and, according the new investigations, molten metals, apropos metallurgy. In the mean time, the man does the things in which he could demonstrate the force, the aggression and dynamics. In the part of the house, the center of the happenings was not the fire, which in essence is an active man’s element, but the hearth, the chimney, which wear the meaning of uterus-woman in childbed. With its own warmth it accomplishes the things, which are inside and designed the new values.
