Project Description
Korana Serdarević was born in Zadar where she finished primary education and high school. She graduated Croatian language and literature and comparative literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. She worked as a journalist in the culture part of Večernji list and Forum weekly, and she also wrote for some weelies and portals. Since 2013 she has been working a high school teacher and she also translates from English. In 2013 she won the first two prizes of for short stories and she published in all relevant literary magazines and the Third Programme of Croatian Radio. She happily lives in Zagreb as a wife and mother of twin girls. Her short story collection “There’s Nothing to Do” is her first published book.
